Cadets should notify the squadron before missing a training night or activity and communicate through their current chain of command.

Date and name of the training night or event.Reason
A concise explanation suitable for attendance records.Email the squadron
If the website form is unavailable, send the required absence information from an appropriate account to the squadron’s organizational address.

Parents can support the process, but cadets should learn to communicate their own attendance whenever appropriate. If the cadet held an assigned duty, they should also coordinate through their current cadet leader.
